PERSONALITY

Worm is an independent and practical cat, keeping to himself for the most part. It can be fairly unfocussed and can come across as bad-mannered, though he doesn’t intend to do this. He tends to be superficial and struggles to form deeper connections with the cats around it. It has a very lax view on life and often comes across as directionless, and it generally is for the most part. He mostly just goes with the flow.

HISTORY

KITHOOD

Wormkit was born to a loving she-cat who refused to tell anyone who fathered her litter. Wormkit was born a troublemaker, picking a fight with the older kits in the nursery as soon as it physically could, resulting in the loss of most of one of his ears. He became close with a kit around his age named Wildkit. They became friends quickly, though Wildkit wasn't really sure what friendship entailed. Many moons of sneaking out of camp finally caught up with Wormkit when it missed it's apprentice ceremony because it was out all night and had slept through the meeting. During the extra moon of kithood, Wildpaw confessed her feelings to him, freaking him out a bit and causing them to drift apart for a bit. He snuck out one day, meeting a Thunderclan apprentice named Vinepaw. They hit it off right away, but their meeting was cut short when Mistlewhisker and Lostspark caught them.

APPRENTICESHIP

Despite this, he was still made an apprentice, being assigned Squirrelrise as a mentor. The first few days were fine until Mistlewhisker came to bring him to Dawnstar. She demoted him for a moon and once more he was confined to the nursery. The moon seemed to take forever but finally, he was free to be an apprentice again, right as a lockdown started of course.
Wildpaw went missing, which devastated Wormpaw, he began to pull away from his friends. A she-cat named Goldenwhisker took him under her wing, and eventually adopted him as a son, though not in words. She just started acting like his bio mother had when she was still alive.

Wormpaw continued to train hard, managing to receive his warrior name at 11 moons.

WARRIORHOOD

Worm's warriorhood seemed to fly by, he and Coyoteblossom got closer, they'd spend nights out of camp just watching stars and hanging out. This all stopped when Wormbelly ended up pregnant. Coyote was excited, Worm was not. He wasn't ready to be a parent, nor did it think it ever wanted to. A moon later Wormbelly gave birth to four kittens, Snakekit, Littlekit, Kinkkit and Pantherkit. Panther was stillborn and the rest seemed sickly. Worm abandoned them all with Coyoteblossom, not wanting to get close to them.

He watched from afar as their kits were raised by their aunt and eventually began dying off, leaving only Snakekit. One day Snakekit vanished, and Wormbelly decided that it wasn't going to let the kit just get away. When it found him, it was told that he wasn't coming back because he needed to 'find himself', whatever that meant.
