HISTORY

KITHOOD
 

Beechkit was born into a litter of two, along with her sister Sagekit, to two Thunderclan warriors named Tansyleap and Aldernose. She and her sister were very close from birth, spending almost all of their time together from the moment they could walk. Beechkit tends to be a bit more adventurous though, wandering farther and farther out of the nursery. Her kithood was fairly basic, she and Sagekit continued to be close. One day Sagekit caught a butterfly, Beechpaw removed the wings and glued one into her own and one into Sage's fur with sap she'd found somewhere.

Aldernose worried that the sap was not good for Sagekit and managed to get her to the medicine den to have it removed. Beechkit refused and was upset when her sister returned with a bald spot and no butterfly wing. They remained close, but Beech never quite forgave her for that.

APPRENTICESHIP

Finally Beech was made an apprentice and assigned to her father. This is what she'd wanted but eventually when her father began neglecting her training she realized this wasn't a good fit. She began asking random warriors to take her out training as she'd began to fall behind her peers. During this time she got close with a couple of her denmates. A she-cat named Mantispaw and a tom named Cloudedpaw. They were all very close and only grew closer as time went one. 

 

WARRIORHOOD

Beechray was the first to receive her warrior name. She vowed to get Sagepaw, Cloudedpaw and Mantispaw to their warrior ceremonies by next moon, and was successful with Sage and Clouded, who received the names Sagelily and Cloudedcreek. Mantispaw had missed a combat lesson, which caused her to be ineligible for her warrior ceremony, but Beechray made sure to get that done as quickly as possible. Finally, Mantisflurry was made a warrior, and then they were immediately thrust into battle. Thunderclan raided Shadowclan, and it went BADLY. Many Thunderclan warriors were lost, Shadowclan won, which was to be expected when attacking them in their own camp. Beechray managed to escape relatively unscathed thanks to her clanmates. The battle was stopped by Dovekit (Apparently Dovepaw) bringing out the body of one of Spiderstar's kids. They went home in defeat, the bodies that were still in fact being brought back to camp. Beechray was suspected of killing an elder, but quickly proved that she had no idea about the corpse in the elder's den.
